Getting on a static roof

I am helping a friend and cleaning and then using a plastic color restore on their roof of their static. I can brush and clean it from a ladder at the side but I'll have to be on top of the roof to use the plastic color restorer.

I wonder if anyone here had been on their static roof? I want to make sure I do it properly and don't break it. I've seen companies videos where they are standing on top of them and jet washing them but thought I'd better check first.
