Hi need some advice we have a swift accord which has a temperamental emc2 psu the 240v side works fine but it doesn't seem to be charging bthe battery fully, when it's plugged in it slowly drains the leisure battery with one light on. But will charge over night no problems. But as soon as you have something running the battery drains and the item it powers pulses. I have ordered a new box but the lead time is around 12weeks would a smart charger plugged on be able to top up battery and run the lights pump ect. Or a 240v to 12v transformer be a better temporary fix?

A smart charger should work. Check on the maximum Amps it can output.
My smart charger can do 4 Amps, which should cope fine for (LED) lights, water pump etc.

If your smart charger is less than this, it may struggle, but any input to the battery should help.
