Looks like the law requiring the need to carry these has now been finally scrapped...

I’d forgotten that the law even existed. I never bought one.

I’d forgotten that the law even existed. I never bought one.
I bought a pack of two initially...on the basis that if you were stopped and had to use one then technically you were then breaking the law as you wouldn't then have one IYKWIM !

I didn't want to give les flics an excuse to top up their pension fund. smile

They ran out of date and I didn't replace them by which time I think the French had stopped fining for not having one, anyway!

Everyone in France had to carry two.

One of the biggest rip off's in political history I reckon.

French politician that pushed for the original act had his finger in the factory that made em.
