Need temporary accommodation so I was considering a caravan. Problem is I have no land to pitch it. Any ideas? First though was to approach farmers to see if they could rent me a piece of land.

Depends on why.

Caravan sites are closed, but actually some are still open and bookable for key workers. Not sure how you get permission..

I'm using a motorhome for inspections and find that Site Providers are normally happy enough for a night.

Asking around is probably the answer.

If you can find the extra £, I would go for a camper van or motor home. Far more flexibility on where you can park etc.

I've been looking at camper vans since 2012. The ones I've been interested are the ones on the inconspicuous side, so a panel van conversion. That said I know those are not ideal for living in.

There are some “ Inconspicuous “ looking panel van camper conversions out there, but in the main, they are home DIY conversions, many of which are of questionable conversion quality.
Most ( but not all ) panel van manufacturer conversions, are very visibly, camper vans.

Take it you've got a camper yourself?

Just park it on a handy grass verge. Park a transit pick up next to it and get a shouty dog.
Good for 6 weeks at least.
