Having just got a new to us VW camper we need to get a few bits and bobs. One is a stove top kettle. Are the folding ones any good? Or would a cheap one from Go Outdoors do? Suggestions are gratefully received.

We got a folding one for the VW Kepler and found it so good that we got another for the Concorde in spite of the enormous amount of storage room we have on board the latter.

Definite thumbs up from our perspective

Get one with a whistle. I sometimes can't tell when my Trangia kettle is boiling because it doesn't have a whistle. I have become so used to electric kettles just turning off when they're done.

A Bialetti stove top coffee maker is essential in a T5/6, we won't leave home without it.

Don't bother with the cheap whistling kettle from go outdoors. We are on our 3rd, bought one and it leaked, swapped it and that leaked, swapped it again and that leaked, gave up.
