American RV Breakdown Cover

Hi all,

Looking for some advice on breakdown cover for my Fleetwood Revolution 40LE which we're taking to Spa next weekend for a bit of club racing.

Does anyone have any recommendations of who to go to for cover and what sort of cover they use? I have seen that some use a C&CC membership to remove the weight limits on RAC breakdown cover, however my coach is 40' which is apparently too long to qualify for the C&CC membership.

I had a trailer fire earlier in the year and having now seen what the standard recovery charge rates are for a coach the size of mine I'm more than a bit terrified of ending up with a four figure bill if we have an issue this side of the channel, let alone trying to get it back from Europe!

You could try asking on the RVOC forum, I thought that the RAC arrivals cover had no limits through the C&CC. There's several members with similar sized rigs who will be able to comment.

PRP transporter rescue we have used for our artic/rigid truck so they should cover that no problem, get UK cover and then a euro add on

Thank you for the advice guys, we've spoken to PRP who seem to be the only ones willing to do proper european cover but unfortunately the european cover is annual, not cheap and only limited to £1000

Struggling to find something sensible that works! ADAC truck cover would have worked before (and it sounds like it used to be the choice of larger motorhome owners) but they are no longer accepting registrations from outside of Germany apparently
