Awning leaking
Discussion
Hi all,
We bought a Vango Kalari air awning in February this year. We are in the Lake District at the minute and last night had 11 hours of constant heavy rain. There’s a bit of water coming in (not much considering the amount of rain) but it’s definitely wet on the floor. My question is, should ANY water come in? Have I attached the awning wrong or is this likely a manufacturer defect. I’ll attach 2 pictures of where the water is coming in - you can see the wet on the air brace which is then dripping onto the step.
Any advice appreciated.

Also a Kampa Rally Air Pro owner, it drips a bit in odd places when it rains. It was worse when it was new but this is because the stitching in the seams needs to get wet a few times to swell and become watertight. I just accept it, would prefer if it was completely watertight but having heard others on forums/FB complaining about odd leaks I went into it with my eyes open.
Condensation on the other hand, open the caravan door on a cold morning and as all that lovely warm air inside hits the outside it's dripping from everywhere like crazy. No idea why these air awnings seem worse for it. Again just put up with it as for most of the time it's a great awning.
