Can anyone advise what the empty weight / tare of a Camping Gaz 907 cylinder is.

Its NOT marked on the base.

I'm trying estimate whether there's a useful amount of gas left in it.

Currently the partly empty cyl weight 4.7 kg

a quick google shows a tare weight of 3.7 kg so about a kilo left providing you can extract it all.

Inverse proportion to the weight your wallet shrinks by when you have to buy a refill

I modified the gas locker in my camper van, so I can now buy Calor at £15 bottle instead of Gaz at £30

Thanks for that.

I know its 4x more expensive than Calor, but I have a useful high power boiling ring that screws straight in to the cylinder.

Its a shame they don't do a propane version, or prop/butane mix that would work better in this cold weather.
