Has anyone got any suggestions? Loads on Google but it's always better to get recommendations imo.

We don't have any particular requirements but do have a 7m motorhome so access could be an issue for smaller places.

Our MH is 8.7m long and we stayed at these places in 2015...

Lake Iseo
http://www.camping-puntadoro.com/it/

Lake Garda
http://www.campingduparc.com/it/

Both walk-able to resto/bar/supermarkets etc. Both with private beaches. The Garda one is much bigger/busier than the Iseo one. I wuld recommend both sites

This Sept we are planning on going again and I am looking at these places...

Lake Iseo
http://www.campingdelsole.it/en/

Lake Maggiore
http://www.campingeden.it/en/

..as they are both ACSI sites so will be much cheaper in Sept.

A really helpful site I came across for trips down to Italy is...

https://www.motorhomevoyager.co.uk

Depends which lake and what sort of things you like on a campsite?
Garda - pool, bars and restaurants and various swimming pools? Camping Village San Francesco, it's expensive but it's all there.
Garda again and a bit more basic is Camping Sirmione which is on the southern peninsula - I prefer this one as it's smaller and easier to access the town (Colombare).

Thanks all, loads to look at. beer

The kids like a pool with as many slides as possible, we prefer character to bars and entertainment. We're mainly going for the climbing, boating and cycling.
