Lightweight camp beds recommendations?
Discussion
I'm hunting for a camp bed (well, 2 camp beds), that is lightweight and packs small. This is for camping trips on a motorbike.
I really like the looks of the Helinox products, but at that price I might as well find a 4 star hotel for the night.
Does anyone have any recommendations for a fairly cheap alternative?

Haven't got one yet - but looking at it for the same reason (bike trips).

Thanks, that's one I've been looking at too. Always a bit wary of cheap copies straight from China though!copy of the helinox one.

If you can cope with blowing up an air bed, look at Alpkit.com. They do 1 that folds up to a tiny size, down side is that it's a manual blow up. Designed for trekking but works well.
I'm not so keen on airbeds, I'll sleep on it for about 10 days and I usually find them uncomfortable after one night, thanks for the suggestion though!Michaelgeeky said:
Go tesco or argos and check it out, I bought my foldable camping bed from Tesco for 12 quid when it had a big sale at that time.
Hope this helps.
How heavy are these though, and how small do they pack? since I'll need to carry two of them, every little bit of weight saving matters...Hope this helps.

Got a couple of these delivered today, they are pretty good! Very light, packs very small, the bits could even be separated to fit around other stuff in the panniers. Only had a quick trial so far but they look like they will do the job nicely!copy of the helinox one.
