I'm in the process of restoring the interior units of my camper - I want to re-veneer them

I've got a unit circa 2m X 1.5m - most of the veneers I can find seem to be 300mm wide - does anyone know if I can get a single sheet to cover this or will I need to abut several sheets and will the join actually show if installed well?

Any recommendations for veneer manufacturers / suppliers.

Also I've seen both iron on and glue on, I'm assuming the glue on is best as easy as the iron on option seems..

You'll have to join it I'm afraid.

Does it need to be real veneer? I'd use some laminate. You can get excellent laminates these days that look fantastic:

I did a small repair on a shelf in my Autotrail Scout using self adhesive vinyl wood effect, it came out very well.
For a larger area, could it be used? Like a vynyl wrap ?

You can get cotton backed veneers in 2.4x1.2m sheets.

It's what we use when doing larger projects - you just have to be careful when you cut the edges so as not to see the backing
