i have two days to get his changed. I will try but do not hold up much hope...

Will it hold with duck tape to Le Mans and back? Thoughts? Crack pretty much runs in a smile pattern under the tape...

Wonder what has caused it to crack like that. I'd have thought the tape will hold it, albeit it doesnt look attractive. Had tape on the rear window on our old caravan which held, but ts not getting the same air pressure.

Startered by an over eager speed bump and an over eager driver at 5mph.

Air pressure then did its worst

Not a hope in hell with so little gaffer.

The size of that window is very large - so the total force pushing in will be equally very large. You need to cover a much larger area, not just a small stripe of tape.

If it were me, i'd be getting some decently sturdy (and very sticky) clear vinly - and covering both sides about a foot above and below the crack. Hopefully, the budget laminate will keep it together for the whole journey smile

New idea. Is to use some 3M tape that they use in the aero industry.

Then buy a towing front cover....

Thoughts?

Some clear Gorilla tape would be better & a bit less noticable from Wilkos or Wickes..

I have sourced a company who can make one of these today/tommorow for me. Am taking the now windowless caravan very steadily tomorrow for it to be fitted.

These people have gone above and beyond as they have a 3 week lead time normally.
