So, very last minute, we've decided that we're are going to spend NYE in our camper.

I'm based in Glasgow and don't want to travel too far as I am working till 4pm on NYE.

I'm just looking for somewhere in a nice location with a pub within stumbling distance, any suggestions?

Thanks!

Don't forget that if you are stumbling back make sure you are not parked where public have access or you are open to drink drive laws.

Looks great, sadly it's shut over new year!

Lomond woods holiday park in Balloch is open all year, a nice big clean friendly site,
Plenty of pubs and restaurants about 5 mins away.
Cheers Keith.

Does anyone know, anyone who has been done for drink driving/in control of motor vehicle, whilst parked up in their motorhome? PJs on, curtains closed, doors locked, keys not in ignition - really ?

arent caravan parks technically private land??? apart from council run ones perhaps.

Lomond woods at balloch is nice, mcdonalds next door for emergency scran, good pubs and eateries in village within 10 minute walk, the tullie inn sells real ale and good malt whiskies, the indian on the main street is delicious too

You can get around that by leaving keys in the pub.
