I have a Sprinter based motorhome (Geist Matterhorn) with bed area over cab. It has a "Rubber duck" type aerial on N/S wing and reception was lousy so I fitted an amplified screen aerial by Autoleads and that is just as bad. Has anyone had this issue and solved it?

TIA
Andy

Our Swift has same problem, rubbish radio reception.

Like you spent £100 + on amplified ariel and things aren't that much better ! Usually take ipod along as a back up.

Yes I do that and also have memory stick facility on head unit but I prefer the chit chat of radio and "Pop Master" on Radio 2 biggrin

Maybe worth trying DAB? I had the same problem with mine,my plan was to go DAB and try the ariel in the windscreen or if not extend the wiring and put it onto the closest habitation window.
