I have a 57 plate motorhome so shouldn't need a thing, but every time I go away planning to take a Leatherman and nothing else* I can't help but think "what if" and start eyeing up my tool kit.

* Plus cable ties and gaffer tape obv.

And a small set of spanners and a drill/driver just in case.

I don't have enough payload to take all that! wink

I bought a small leatherette wallet thing with a variety of screwdrivers, a couple of spanners, soldering iron(!), pliers, knife etc and then a big pack of assorted cable ties and a big roll of duck tape - everyone knows that everything can be fixed with large supplies of duck tape!! smile

Only thing that ever went wrong with our Ducato 2.3JTD based Motorhome was the turbo pipe blowing off, fixed (temporarily) with my leatherman.

Typically it happened in the worst place possible!

Carry a free multipurpose toolkit that came with a stationery order! Has to use it to install a replacement skylight a few years ago!

More or less this plus

- WD40
- Pliers
- Wire stripper
- Side cutters
- Hose tape
- Assorted Fuses
- Rigger gloves
- Fuse wire

I bought one of these 96 pieces for 20 quid touches in a nice bag from Halfrauds...and added a few bits to fill the bit a bit.

Im paranoid after my TVR ownership days hehe
