Camping Cheques

Has anybody used camping cheques in france ? if so how did you fing it worked out and were the sites good ? if so any recommendations would be appreciated for Normandy area, Atlantic coast, and Camargue region

Friends of ours only come to France when they can use them (which is every year!!). They've just left us to head back to the UK and when they were down near Argeles-sur-Mer we went down there for a week and stayed in a mobile home on the site that they were on (at Palau-de-Vidre) which was very nice. As I say they come over to France every year and usually stay for 6 weeks or so and alternate with late August/September and then June/July.
