Is anyone else going to Camp Besitval in Dorset this year?
This will be our 4th year but the first of taking a caravan which I must admit im super excited about. Mostly for not sleeping on the floor and having cold wine throughout.
The kids cant wait and I am stocked up on glow sticks and bubble wands!

Tempted to do this once the kids are a little bit older, sounds really good. Would be too much like hard work with a 2 & 4 year old at the moment. If my plan to get a motorhome within the next few years goes ahead then it would make it even more viable. Returning to Glastonbury is a long way off though
We went this year just for the Sunday but met friends there who had a weekend pass and were staying in their caravan.
Site is just a field and you have enough room for an awning but more closely pitched than a caravan club site for example. About 20 min walk to the festival (our car park was further, maybe 25 min walk) so they took a break for a late lunch and recharge ready for the afternoon/evening.
they said it was a great atmosphere and no noisey groups at night.
Their son had lots of kids to play with when they were on the site.
Only trouble was huge caravan envy :-) some very nice vans there.
Sunday was baking hot, Steve Backshaw was brilliant as was Ella Aire.
Highlight were Underworld. had my doubts for a family festival but 90% of the parents turned out to be old ravers and they went down a storm :-) lager lager lager . . . .
All ended with a superb firework display in time to music.
