Recomend me a 12v cool box
Discussion
Am I allowed to say don't bother, as they i've found they don't perform how you think they will, especially when it's hot.
I have a 24l campingaz one which was pretty useless kept in a car in the south if france as it only cools to a certain Amount (15c max) below ambient, which if the temp in a car hits 30C you aren't getting much cooling. Plus it had a noisy fan, plus even though it wasn't supposed to, flattend two different car batteries.
I have found freezer blocks or buying ice blocks works much better.

Already tried the freezer block route didn't work as I will be storing it in the van for a few days.
It just needs to stay cool rather than frozen as its for storing cans and bottles of drink in my works van so I can have a cool fresh one rather than a luke warm one
for drinks only then these may well suit you fine: Campingaz do an electric range from 20-36 litres. It just needs to stay cool rather than frozen as its for storing cans and bottles of drink in my works van so I can have a cool fresh one rather than a luke warm one

Instead of the freezer blocks I freeze 1 litre fruit juice cartons to line the floor of the cool box and that works pretty well. Use the top layer on day one, the second layer will still be slussy on day two and cool on day three providing they are keep out of direct sun light.mobile chicane22 said:

You might not need an electric cool box. Some of the regular insulated ones are good for days. I've heard good things about the Igloo MaxCold range

Good point about Igloo. We borrowed a huge max cold chest this weekend for a party, used it on Saturday and it still has ice in it now despite being stood outside in the sun (Although there's less sun today )
Problem with OP he doesn't need a 100 litre box in the van to cool some drinks. The bigger the box, the better the cold retention. Partly because you can put more ice blocks in them. As above, careful management of frozen blocks and ice cbined with putting in already cold/frozen drinks would probably mean you don't need an electric one. From my experience, the electric ones can't be relied on to keep things chilled like a fridge ling term, making them ultimately a bit pointless, unless you buy an expensive mobile fridge. This is mine:
Look around a bit and you should beat this price. I think (it was a while back) I paid slightly under £200 in total (free delivery too).

We bought one of these recently - http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/...
Worked fine at keeping food and milk cold from UK to Bordeaux last week, and once there plugged into the mains which was pretty handy in a tent over 30 degrees.
Downside is it's pretty bulky in the boot, but it didn't seem much bigger than others we looked at.

What a stupid f*ing web-site, fills the screen with a third party banner add that stops you seeing the product. Well they can swivel if they want my custom.https://www.groupon.co.uk/deals/special/gg-groupon...

What he said. Waeco and Engels do compressor fridges that will make ice in the Sahara while not flattening your battery in five minutes but they're £500 or so.
Another vote for Engel, wouldn't be without ours. It will make ice in the Sahara, but only overnight when the ambient temperature drops down below about 20*. During the day, you've no hope! These guys do hire them out if it's not something you want to spend big money on.
