Starting to think ahead to next year, but we would quite like to take the caravan into France for 3-4 weeks

Slightly more complicated coming from Belfast but initially it seems cheaper to get ferry to England then maybe euro tunnel rather than going direct from Dublin / Rosslare to France

But beyond getting there, any tips?

Are there any odd local laws we need to consider, e.g. Is there any additional kit like hi viz you need to keep in the car?

We would like to go to euro disney for a couple of days but don't want to spend the whole holiday in one place, would like to get further south. Is the likes of euro camp worth looking into? Or would you just make it up as you go along?

Due to school hols we will likely be there July/August which I assume is busy enough

I guess the AA website is a pretty good start regarding the kit you need to take with you..high viz (one per person in the car); spare lamps; deflectors etc etc

Chuck one of these in your car, covers most bases, although the breathalyser has been indefinitely suspended and I think it is a hi-viz for each person in the vehicle.
