£10k 4 berth motorhome/camper advice?
Discussion
Hi,
Can anyone offer any advice based on the following criteria?
£10k ish max
4 berth inc two young kids
Airier the better
Uk hols only at moment
Safer the better re passengers
towing ability for small race car, ( sub 1 ton combined trailer/car )
newer the better
I like look of VW T5s etc but poss too small and claustrophobic but poss don' have sufficient budget for anything bigger that isn't old and flakey?
Any advice greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Ed

I think a coach built will give you the space and berths you need but it will be older, any 2.5td will be ok for towing the race car, the more common 1.9s wouldn't be so much fun.
We trade our p.xs to this guy, Carl -
Www.motorlands.co.uk
His stocks well priced and changes almost daily.
If you can find one that's I good shape and budget an Auto sleeper Amethyst is Transit based so rwd for towing and a monocoque body so no damp.
Pretty dated looks but beautifully built and designed by William Towns? who did the Lagonda.
