A friend has asked me to sell his C30. It's a bit tired looking and has sat for a couple of years outside. It has a leak on the fuel hose which runs over the tank so access is a pain. It starts and runs if you drop a bit of fuel in the carb, but is basically a project. He just wants rid (as do I as it sits in the yard looking untidy) but I wondered if it was perhaps worth more in bits than as a whole? I'm not working at the moment, so all pennies gratefully received, but if there's mileage in parting it out (rather than get paid a 'drink' when it sells) I'm all ears.

I would say its worth more as a project on EBay as a complete vehicle, engine and box aside there is probably not a lot on there worth breaking it for.
It's not too big (23ft ?) so can appeal to more than a 26ft+ would.

This time of year is probably ideal as a potential fixer-upper ready for the season

I would say that you will probably get no more in "parting it out" than you will in selling it as a complete project on ebay. In fact you will likely get more as a project as the only bits you will likely sell quickly will be engine and gearbox, depending on what engine it has - if its a v6 then just forget it,a healthy v8 however will always sell.
