Hi

Does anyone have any recommendations for decent/reasonable Motorhome insurance companies?

Looking to insure a 'standard' sized Motorhome for European travel.

Thanks

Did ours through the camping and caravan club. Ours is on a caravan but I thought it was reasonable at £150. Not much Europe cover though as we don't need it this year.

I find either Comfort or Caravangaurd most competitive with the most suitable cover for Europe with breakdown assistance included.
Comfort have been less expensive for comparable cover for my camper for the last few years.
A lot depends on your postcode and it's worth a couple of hours on the phone rather than online to get the right cover for your needs.

Just renewed MH insurance with Caravanguard for the third year running. Very competitive - in fact there was no increase this time over last years premium clap

I tend to hop between sureterm and motorhomefacts as each year they seem to alternate between being a good price for us.

I have had to make an at fault claim with sureterm and it went through painlessly and I was able to select the repairer (CI main dealer). They sent an accessor out who negotiated the work direct with the dealer on any quibble points.

Sureterm have a lot of paperwork to fill in and send back. I had to send CAT1 alarm proof and mileage declaratons to ensure I didnt go over the allowed mileage. Underwritten for me by ERS (Equity Red Star)

Motorhomefacts don't ask that many detailed questions and was all sorted out online. They are underwritten for me by Aviva.

These are the cheapest I have found and I have also been happy with them.

Another vote for Adrian Flux here - by far and away the most competitive for our caravan.

Adrian Flux were by far the cheapest evry year for the 5 years or so that we had our VW T4.
