Bought a blue 16A 3 pin electric hook up plug, but it is void of any live neutral earth markings !

The earth pin is obviously the large one, but which is L and which is N ?!?!?!

Tried tinternet, no schematics or images.

Doesn't really matter as only the UK has a fused live in plugs.Just be sure not to connect anything but earth too earth.
Some anal campers twitter on about reverse polarity but again,it doesn't matter.

Yes it does. Reverse polarity won't charge your battery. Also, I am old by trained sparkys, leaves equipment live when switched off.

If it doesn't matter, why do modern caravans have a warning light? Never encountered it in the UK, but very many French and Spanish leccy points are reversed.

Totally agree about leaving equipment 'live' when switched off.

Shouldn't make a difference to charging though as the 240v supply only feeds a 240/12v transformer in the charger and it is the 12v side that is rectified to positive and negative surely.
