Kyham sun canopy
Discussion
The Australians seem to prefer this type of shelter over a full awning (from what I've seen on YouTube) on their off-road caravans. Maybe it's because they tend to keep moving through the outback rather than settling in one place, but I admit that I'd rather have one of these than a full awning too. The whole point of caravaning over camping (for me) is the quick set-up and break-down. And not having a lot of fabric to dry out at home when you inevitably end up packing away in the rain makes the slight inconvenience of NOT having a full awning worthwhile.

I agree, ours is hanging over the line now drying out after a trip to Runswick Bay ! With a windbreak it's nearly as good as a full awning .Gassing Station | Tents, Caravans & Motorhomes | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
