Caravan Window Seals

The rubber seals on our caravan windows have failed with the result that all the windows are stuck to them which makes opening the windows very difficult! How easy is it to replace these seals?

I had the same thing, grey seals seem worse. Cost about £100 for 20m of new seals from a caravan online shop, and about two days work to replace 8 windows. Also came across rotten frames when pulling out the old, so that included repair of those. Pretty easy and just need a staple gun to staple the rubbers back on to the wooden frame.

Presumably easy as long as the wooden frame is not too rotten!

Ah well nothing to lose I guess by having a go!

the frames on mine wer 1"x1" wooden batons, so easy enough to cut to length, and pull/chisel out the old ones.
