Overcabs will be fine for 2 not morbidly obese adults, ive been selling them for 10 years and im yet to see a goosed one yet.
British vans traditionally have smaller overcabs as they were for kids where as european vans have larger ones as adults slept up there.
Lots of people think theyll sleep over the cab but few do,get both of you up there for acwhile to try it and practice the far person exiting first.
Vans with forward facing seats will have proper 3 ooint belts that are fine for car seats but take them to a dealer and try them in a few as some vans and seats can be incompatable.

If the overcab has a bit of head room, then fine, but some of them can be a tad claustrophobic, so both of you get up there and ponder it for a bit more than a few minutes at the dealers. We didn't use ours as the ceiling wasn't all that far from your nose and even climbing over your partner was a bit of a squeeze. Unfortunately our over cab section dropped, with the tops of the cab doors scraping on the undersides of the overcab, something which although reported well within warranty was something we never got sorted out with Swift, the cost of the repair being deducted from the trade in value when we moved it on.
