In the latest in the series of "Crikey's bought a caravan but doesn't know what he's doing" threads, I need some advice on the above.

It looks like the caravan will be stored on a local farm, pretty secure (big barrier) but no CCTV or warden, although it will be close to the farmhouse.

It will occasionally spend short periods in front of the house before and after going away, or if I need to do anything to it and it'd be easier to do it at home.

The Camping and Carvan Club offer insurance and I assume that the Caravan Club also do, probably with discounts for members.

Try Lifesure. Just had a renewal for mine and nobody can get to within £70 of them.

I went from CASSOA Gold storage to my sister in laws field and it only went up £30 plus excess increase from £150 to £250.
I them stored it at a camping and caravan club site with 24 hr warden and it reduced to below the CASSOA level!
Go figure!
I use Crusader insurance.
