Looking for decent table lantern - any recommendations?

As it says really. I want a decently powerful light that I can sit outside the tent with and read by. We've got good lights for inside and for the trip to the loo, but I bought a 72 led light for outside last year that is just too direction sensitive and a broad beam lantern would be better I think. Thanks

Camping gaz works for me. Old school but you get the reassuring gas sound and a soft, warm, light.

Don't know if they will be any good but, Aldi are advertising 12 led lanterns at £3.49 including batteries this week.
Might be worth a punt?
