Hobby motorhome with Renault - remap a good idea?
Discussion
Hello all!
My parents are just about to take delivery of a new Hobby 65GE motorhome which has a Renault 2.3 turbot diesel.
My dad is also looking at one of these....

I'm personally always a bit wary of this kind of thing; has anyone any experience with them?

I'd also suggest that he goes on a few trips with it as it is first to see if he feels it's underpowered. Motorhoming is not all about going fast so he might feel it's perfectly fine as standard.
My thoughts exactly - my dad is definitely NOT a swift driver at all and I'm not sure why he's so into the idea. nagsheadwarrior said:
We had a demo Adria Matrix last year on the now replaced 120 engine,it drove great in standard form and was much bigger than the hobby.
What a super looking van that hobby is by the way.
It had better be! It's my bloody inheritance they've blown on it!!! What a super looking van that hobby is by the way.
(only joking - I'm really pleased to see them buy something like that after a lifetime running a business, bringing up me and two sisters, paying us all through school, uni etc. it does look fab.
