Double Back Camper Van
Discussion
Been out for a while now, but I think it is only recently that Danbury have secured the licence from the USA to convert them over here(?)
It's a lot of money though! I can't help thinking that someone with that kind of cash to blow on a lifestyle vehicle is more likely to spend it on a coachbuild which for the same outlay will offer a lot more space inside (if this is the primary factor for buying the VW in the first place over a standard T5). Lets assume you want all of the bells and whistles - that's going to cost the thick end of 70k. You'd have to be a real VW die hard to want one at that price point when you can buy a lovely T5 conversion for 25k.

I think its a super idea to get space on site and a small vehicle off if it.
I think Danbury bought it from a small welsh? Company and actually dropped tge price by 10k.
Knowing danbury tho everything will be a pricey extra.
It is an interesting idea, but I'm still not sure who is going to fork out for one at 70k. I just think that at that price point you are appealing to a different demographic who (possibly) would keep their motorhome stationery for the duration of their stay(?) which therefore makes the concept of a small vehicle's usabilty redundant. 70k buys you a lot of living space in a motorhome, more than the double back can offer. I hope I am proved wrong I think Danbury bought it from a small welsh? Company and actually dropped tge price by 10k.

I think bright orange paint,5 tvs and a nightclub soundsystem kinda limits tge twins appeal to the average british camper!
300 calis is great going,it shows the markets there if the products right, youd think Danbury will find 10-12 buyers a year to make the double back wothwhile.
The Adria GT looks a fantastic van, size wise and the fit out.300 calis is great going,it shows the markets there if the products right, youd think Danbury will find 10-12 buyers a year to make the double back wothwhile.
The smallest Coachbuilt that I have had was 7.5 mtrs and the largest 2 which were both Cathagos at 9mtrs.
Now we want to buy something much smaller for access to a lot of different things, we have been looking at VW Crafter 4x4 and Sprinter 4x4, but whatever I read about either van they both seem to have problems and neither of the same, so where to look now ?..........we are going to the Dusseldorf show for a look around again which is where we have bought our last Motorhomes/Wohnwagens, the best show that I have ever been to
