The saga continues (I'll write a thread about our motorhome story when I have a spare month of Sundays).

It has failed its APK (Dutch MOT) because the headlights are not adjusted correctly (too low). The adjuster dial inside the cab does nothing (I knew this but it's not a fail) and the manual adjusters on the lights themselves are stuck.

If anyone has any clever tips about these particular headlights and how best to unstick the adjusters or cleverly correct the lowness, please enlighten me. I have Googled and find nothing relevant.

Motorhome is now 50km or so away from home at the import company but thankfully I have some time on Friday (tomorrow is Public Holiday here and everything is closed) to go there to try and fix it. Otherwise I leave it to them and probably they will want to fit new lights at more extreme cost.

  • please note that this post is partly asking for help and partly me venting frustrations as the story of this thing seems, so far, to be never ending!!

Relief. Went to the motorhome yesterday and with cunning use of an 11mm socket, adjusted the lights. WHY they didn't do this themselves during the test is anyone's guess, it took me 30 secs!

I have a habit of doing that, it's part of my "engage gob before brain" philosophy silly
