Tent alternative to trailer tent?
Discussion
Basically, we were going to buy a trailer tent (a Camplet) but we've worked out we cannot store it. We wanted a trailer tent due to ease of erection and more sleeping comfort.
Next option is a tent to replace our Aldi one which has done us proud for 3 years in France.
Its for 2 adults and one child. Annual trip to France plus odd UK trip.
What tent would you recommend with ease of erection and comfort as priorities?
Budget not really a problem as we were going to spend £5k on the trailer.
Thanks

You can buy brackets that allow you to store the trailer on its side.
Thats why we wanted the camplet trailer, it would store on its side in the garage. Its just we use the garage for other things and its a lot of money to leave in the garden. Thanks for the other suggestions; off to have a look now.
If you like the bell tent, PM me and I'll put you in touch with someone who can get a superior product at a lower cost.
Also, I agree with polycotton tents. Cooler in the day and warmer at night than nylon. Outwell seem to offer the best range, features and quality from what I can see.

Thanks. Not sure I fancy the bell type to be honest.
The Outwell website is great, loads of choice and great videos (Friday nights with a new baby - get your enjoyment wherever you can!!)
Question - apart from breathability, what benefit does Polycotton offer over Polyester? Much as I dislike a damp inner in the morning, I can't help think that a soaking wet outer would be worse, especially if it was moving day.
Question 2 - Vango Airbeam, apart from air, what keeps it rigid? I assume some metal is involved?
Thanks again.

We had an Outwell Lanai Reef that was fantastic, easy to put up and very sturdy however it is huge and heavy when packed away due to the polycotton.
We have an addition to the family now and we are looking at a Vango Callsto as a replacement, it has a steel pole frame and blackout pods and more than big enough for our needs

We've got one of these

Easily big enough for 2 adults and 3 kids and very quick to put up. I can do it in 15 mins.
However I would have gone for the air beam if the budget allowed.
