Polishing the caravan
Discussion
Just bought a five year old Compass Liberte caravan and jolly good it is too. We're very happy with it. Just got one query really and that is how to get a nice shine on the front of the van.
The sides of the van are painted aluminium and bright white and look fab, but the front and gas locker are some sort of plastic and have gone dull and chalky. I don't think it's GRP because the inside of the moulding is as smooth as the outside and I think if it were GRP the inside would be all rough? So what is it?
I've given it a good wash and tried polishing it with Auto Glym resin polish and it's a bit better but not much. Anyone know how I can get a real nice high gloss shine on it?
