I have a 3 person one, about 3-4 years old. I think it's good quality, easy to put up and well made. Can't comment on longevity though, as it doesn't get used all that often, only a few times each year...

Got a Gelert Vector 8, plenty demanding family use (4 teenage kids), done three seasons with it now. Cost peanuts for what it is, brilliant tent, doddle to put up. Took a full on east coast north sea cliff top storm in its stride last year although that's probably due to my awesome tent putting upping skillz. Great value for money IMO.

I have 6 man Gelert tent and have had it for 3 years.
Its of a pretty good quality and has served us well since owning it.

I noticed that Go Outdoors sell Hi Gear tents and the writing and spec logos printed on the side of the tent are the same as the Gelert tents.

Hi Gear stuff is supposed to be cheap camping stuff but im sure they are just older gelert designs rebranded. They seem to be the same quality but a little cheaper too.

I've got a 3 man tent which I've had over 10 years now. Used a couple of times a year or so, still in great shape no issues with it at all. Would buy again.

I use my Gelert tent every year at Le Mans and have done for 7 or 8 years, and no problems.

I've got a Gelert Solo one man back packing tent, had it for 4 years, best £25 I've ever spent of camping/mountain gear. It's survived everthing that's been thrown at it from -10 in the snow in snowdonia to single night jollies in the summer! I wont hesitate to buy another when it finally goes.

I've had an Owatta 4 (http://www.gelert.com/products/ottawa_4_tent) in the fetching brown for the last three years using it three or four times a year and it's excellent. Had a small leak in a storm in Wales. Stuck a bit of extra sealant on and not a drop since. All my equipment is slowly moving to Gelert

I've got a Gelert Horizon 6 and love it. Lot's of nice little touches to the design. I've bought a lot of Gelert stuff over the years and whilst there's the odd lemon, 90% of it is IMO the best budget gear you're likely to find.
