Having now parked the 'van in front of the door, I really need to find ourselves an indoor storage location. I've looked at the Cassoa website, and what little sites I can find with indoor storage, they are all mega expensive and have no availability.

Does anyone have any other suggestions? I'm in Aylesbury, Bucks, but will consider anything in a 50-60 mile radius.

Why does it need to be indoor ?

I think its much more likely you'll find outdoor storage

Because the great English weather will quickly reduce the 8 year old pristine bodywork into a mess?

nah, millions of vans are outside permanently. Before you put it away for winter get a decent coat of polish on it, in spring just wash all the crud off and stick another coat of polish on.
You could get a cover if you really wanted, I think they are more hassle than they are worth though.

The bodywork will be suprisingly resilient... outdoor storage (depending on your location) should be plentiful and if you shop around taking into account how secure and accessible each storage location is, not particularly expensive.

As mentioned, you can get a cover for it if you want - whilst not "cheap", they are not expensive compareed to the investment you have made in a tin tent.

My Father-in-law stores his at the bottom of his garden, and it lives under a cover. Takes him about 10-15 minutes max to fit the cover when they return from a holiday. He fits it alone... if my Mother-in-law helped him, it would probably take less time.

Actually, thinking about that last line.......

Because all the 8 year old cars that are stored outside look a complete mess?

FWIW, our neighbour across the road leaves his caravan on the driveway, and cleans it once in a while. It looks exactly the same as it always has.

Is it really a surprise indoor storage is mega expensive? All soort of stuff has to be stored inside. and buildings that are useful for storage will usually be used for commercial purposes. Then you have the stuff people like to store indoors like classic cars etc.

Items that are perfectly happy outdoors like caravans are far down on the list, and not only that but they take up a lot of room.

If industrial rents are say £5 sq ft what size is a caravan? 20ft by 7ft? so thats 140sq ft, but need to add circulation space say 50% so thats 210 sq ft. Rents in the area £5 sq ft? So £1,050, add to that business rates, insurance, electricity and you probably add £750, so we are up to £1,800. Now we need to add for voids even at 10% that brings us up to nearly £2,000, now we need to add security, admin costs and then finally profit.

On the other hand if you think its mega expensive and they are all full, go and get your own space, and start a business offering caravan storage. Yours will then be free!
