Vango Airbeam

Anyone got one of the "tents" with the Vango AirBeam system.

Any thoughts about the system and specific tents that use the system?

I thought these where a great idea when I first saw them as I thought it was using the thermarest technology of self inflating as the poles, but after some research, I found out that it was just a traditional bladder type unit used for the airbeams. Still a great idea but you would need to pump it up.

You might want to check some of the mainstream camping forums. Last years Airbeam had shocking reviews and there were many fault models. Things may well have improved for this year but I'd be a little cautious.

I've heard bad reports too, mainly about the system leaking or not inflating correctly.
