Anybody have any experience of cinch pop up tents? They look good compared to other pop ups. Would only be Used for the odd night now and again.

I bought a quechua 2 man pop up this year, literally a minute to pitch (only has 4 pegs, one on each corner and a couple of optional guy ropes) and unusually for a pop up can be packed away inside a fortnight. I will admit the first attempt took a while but once I realised that it wouldnt break when you bend it into the figure of 8 shape it took me about 3 minutes to get it back in the bag.

Was cheap for a good quality double skinned tent as I bought it in france (on the way back from lemans) and for some reason they were massively reduced because they had a union flag on them biggrin

linky to their english seller http://www.decathlon.co.uk/2-seconds-ii-tent-id_81...

I bought a Quechua XXL3 for our trip over the bank holiday. There is plenty of space inside for two, it is ridiculously easy to put up, and stayed bone dry despite the hours of rain. There are some very neat and well thought out features that I wouldn't have expected. Best of all, I managed to get it folded, and back in the bag first time. biggrin

It is a lot better than the Lichfield Yana that we took as well.

I have a Cinch pop up tent which I bought to go to Le Mans and Silverstone. Firstly, their customer service is superb. I had a small issue where one of the ferrules came adrift and they replaced the whole tent. There is far more room than a Quechua Air and having the storage areas on both ends is great if its been raining.
It takes 30 seconds to erect and no more than a minute to fold when you have the knack.
SWMBOs uncle is looking at getting one as he was so impressed by the quality and ease of use.
Big thumbs up from me! thumbup

Ended up buying one and have had it up in the garden and seems ok, haven't spent a rainy night in it yet so can't say if it's waterproof or not but it's a nice size and really easy to pop up and put away (after watching YouTube videos).
Thanks for replys.
