Thinking of buying a motorhome/van conversion at the moment smile,But while researching prices models etc on ebay...there seems to be a regular theme of....selling for my sick grandparents...selling for my father who don`t have a ebay account blah blah blah....is this some sort of scam that i`m missing ?
or am i just too suspicious confused

Thanks
B man

We looked and bought kind of through EBay. I thought the same as you, in the end our very old camper was sold by the owners son. Looking through the MOTs in some years it only did 5 miles. Many are owned stored and almost forgotten.

Go and visit, we saw so may good condition ones that had been painted, filled and butchered.

Like any purchase, do your homework, HPI check and maybe get an inspection if you're talking 1,000's

Motorhomes tend to be owned by older people...

Older people tend to be less internet savvy.

And pass on and leave the motorhome for the family to dispose of

I'm over the hill! 36 and had a motorhome since I was 35, and had a honda when I was 31!
There's no hope for me! frown

Also, I looked at ebay but most were like said, selling for somebody else or selling before the end of auction. I gave up and just looked on Autotrader.
