Just got a new tent this week (delivered tomorrow) which is an 8 man instead of a full 12 man that we're used to, but it'll do. £165 from go outside.

planning on using it over summer with a trip to malvern hills/Worcester way.

First time taking CB Junior (aged three) camping last night. We stayed at Yorkshire Wildlife Park, and was able to have pizzas with the giraffes after closing (including in the price) and a meet and great with the camels at breakfast! You do pay extra for the meet and great - £5 per person, and don’t know in advance what it’ll be - I suspect it’ll be something each day of the week.

Animals aside, nice enough site - with a bar, minidisco, games tent etc. as you’d expect at a place like this it is on the pricey side. We’re members so visit frequently and wanted to go somewhere local for his first time. This did mean we didn’t have to pay extra to enter the park, which made our stay £30.

His evening went something like this
6pm - this is really fun
9pm - this is amazing I want to go camping again
2pm - I want to go home
7am - I love camping.

Whitby at the end of July and a site a few miles from Alton Towers at the end of Aug.

It's usually wet when we go camping so apologies for anyone else who's booked a UK site around then.

South of France, 3 weeks end of July.
70km from Spanish border….200m from the Med.
7 summers down there and UV killed our 6 man airbeam tent.
So new version is almost identical except it’s cotton.

Free spot on the breakwater by the dunes at Redcar South Gare. The old steelworks went last year and it's stunning now, fantastic swimming bay.

Hook Norton, Oxfordshire this weekend, during a brief respite in the relentless rain.

I managed to fit my big tent, two air beds, sleeping bags, clothes, cooking equipment, a Porta Potti 365, food and beer into my E46, which was quite impressive.

Campsite was a muddy field at the back of a pub with a tap, two pub toilets and an elsan point. My wife booked it but I’m inclined to think that £25 a night for that is rather taking the piss a tad.

4 trips so far this year on the bike and in the mini.

Camperjam this weekend. I’d love a van but finances aren’t in place yet.

This was after the Dave day ride.

Wind, rain, hail and a bit of sun = muddy mad

Discovered a few more issues with my new bus so it’ll need to go back to the converter for the 3rd time in 6 weeks. rolleyes

Absolutely hammered down on Sunday morning when trying to pack up so I got soaked and I then at home had to lay everything out to get dried again before packing away. banghead

One positive, my 4-Motion shod with KO2’s got me out of the muddy field, my mates not so lucky laugh

Great colour!
