Anyone with experience of Cabstars at these kind of mileages? Looking at a dropside with taillift. Found a cheap one but not keen on picking up a load of trouble

That eBay one is one of them - there are a few out there at that sort of mileage. Agree that there's something "off: about the wording but that's been pretty much true of every advert I've read for dropsides in my price range

Other part to this is that I'm looking to spend up to 7k (inc vat). Needs to be no more than 3.5GVW so I can drive it on a B1 entitlement. Not essential to have a tail lift but useful. Not interested in XLWB, would prefer MWB or even SWB. Not worried about ULEZ compliance.

Again for me it would be Sprinter all day long though you will struggle with your budget

The care home bought it on the advice of the previous caretaker, and don't know anything about it?

I've read some good old okie-dokes on eBay listings but that's sure a new one. biglaugh

Thanks for the Sprinter link - I'd missed that one. Could be interesting it's done less than 1k miles since June 2021 which "feels" wrong but we'll see they say... Any opinions on VW Crafters?
