Looking for a HGV (C+E) training school - but with a twist

Short version:

I’m looking for a HGV (C+E) driving school, in the South-East region, who have a newish & modern fleet of training trucks.

I’m based in London, but willing to travel to find the right school.


Longer version:
I want to do the C+E exam for pleasure purposes (i.e. not for work), and I particularly want to drive around in a HGV for a week or two as part of the course.

I know that the costs are going to be a few £000’s, therefore I would like to find a training school that use modern trucks.

I’ve had a C cat licence for over 25 years, and have driven commercially many years ago, but never got the chance to drive C+E, hence wanting to scratch that itch.

That's who I learnt and passed with ,don't suppose the same instructors are still there as it was 22 years ago but otherwise highly recommended .
I'd have posted it earlier but couldn't remember their name .

You jest, but I obtained my cat C licence whilst I was in the TA back in the 90's.

What do you class as new & modern?

You won't find many with new trucks. No training school is forking out £150k for a truck to use for training. That why most are 5-10 years old

Most of EPs trucks are 1-3 years old.

All their truck photos they post on their FB page are 6+ years old
