My local Ford dealer told me they would have a demo by the start of October of both the van and car version of the new courier.
As of Saturday no demos, no idea on when the demo would arrive and no deals on ordering its list price only.

I take it Ford have had issues at the Romanian factory setting up the production line?

I think its fair to say that Ford currently have a lot of issues and in light of the way they closed Southampton that's " good enough for them " as the old Granny used to say . With that attitude from the Dealer who will be completely at Fords mercy I would be considering my options

Got an update from ford dealer, Production only started last week, a few months behind schedule.

Right hand drive build slot not planned in until december so no UK deliveries before 2024.

Ford UK dont know when demonstrators will be arriving

Ford dealer called, Feb 23 earliest expected delivery of demos.
‘I can get you into a 25 plate one for late March’.

Delays are due to assembly line issues.
Hopefully the Ford Romanian factory can paint the vehicles better than the Ford Turkish factory, cant be any worse!
