Another question from down under re my new transit van.

For some reason which nobody can give a logical answer for, most "tradies" here (eg buiders, carpenters, plumbers, electricians etc) almost exclusively use "utes" as trade vehicles. In my experience these trades would generally use a van in UK?

I've previously fitted out my vans myself, simple shelves and pigeon holes for crates, etc, but I hoped to get the new one professionally done.
I haven't found anyone here who specialises so I'm looking for ideas from you guys... anyone done something similar?

Here's a photo of my old iLoad and the new transit, as well as some shelves I've been quoted $4,500 for!! (ETA, that's just the bare shelves without the plastic tubs!)

People who do the work drive vans. The boss drives a pickup, thus using its inherent impracticality to indicate he is now above doing any actual work.

There's a fairly decent second hand market for van shelves etc over here, especially since #vanlife became a thing and everyone is stripping out the fitted stuff from their new camper vans.

Being in the UK unless you are willing to pay my airfair I can't help you fit it. But I would recommend ebay for racking. I dont really see the need for purpose made metal racking when ply wood racking is just as good. Just don't scrimp on the fixings.
