I recently sold my Disco 4 which I used to use for everything, including van duties. Already regret it a bit...

Anyway, I have a new car and so I'm looking at a dedicated van for van duties.

I'm happy to look at the non-commercial / car variants of vans, especially if seats can be removed etc.

I need seating for three. Preferably all up front. I need a longish wheel base but not too tall (so if I fit bars, it'll still fit in my garage).

Budget 15k but would love to spend less than 10k.

I've only just started looking and I've come across the following:

- Previous gen Citroen Dispatch / Expert / Scudo / Proace:
3 seats, the 2.0 seems to be ok. Decent space even in SWB.

- Berlingo:
3 seats up front - LWB version will fit bikes in back?

- VW Caddy Maxi:
Seems ok. Do they ever have 3 seats though?

- Doblo / Combo / Citan, etc:
3 seats ever? LWB versions seem good.

- Nissan NV200:
I like these and maybe I get the car version, and take the seats out leaving just one on the middle row.

Have I missed any? Any advice appreciated. Looking to be able to load three bikes in the back without any removal of wheels etc, and move three people also.

The berlingo front double seat isn't very wide, best for children only.

I don't think the Doblo/Caddy did 3 seaters.

The SWB Expert/Dispatch standard roof is around 2m high and are about the same length as a LWB Berlingo, just taller and wider than the berlingo, with more space on the bench seat.

Thank you, looking at those now. Also looking at the new Partner with three seats up front.

Agreed. You'll get a fairly nice facelift 2012/2013 sort of age Vito for the budget you have. Rust issues are sorted by that era.
