Hi Team,

I’ve got an assessment with Waitrose at Bracknell next week. It’s on nights, 5 days.

I gather they pay monthly. My main query, as I’m struggling to earn enough for a mortgage (single) is, does anyone know what the average monthly earnings are?

Gather it’s a 37.5hr week with 10ths overtime brining it to 47.5hr.

Thanks..

I worked there for 4 years but Leyland depo up ere north. My average pay the year before I left was £2550 take home but they’ve had a pay increase now. My mate still works there sure he said it’s around £2700-2900 take home on his 47.5 hour contract doing evenings so not maximum possible night pay.

Edit to add noticed it looks like your contract is the old one so if they still pay 1.5x for overtime you’ll be getting that from 37.5 unlike us getting it from over 47.5.

I suppose it would be a complete waste of time to ask Waitrose?

I’ve asked - nothing is divulged until assessment etc. Would like to know prior to wasting their/my time plus petrol if it’s not in the ball park I require..
