There's a haulage company that regularly parks in a bus stop in my partner's village, it obstructs the bus stop badly and the elderly people that use it (it's mostly elderly) end up struggling to get the bus, not to mention that newer bus drivers then either can't or won't stop here. The description on the cab is vague and googling it returns nothing or a lot.

I want to get in touch with the company, but obviously I can't. Can anyone help please?

Thanks

James

That's just one of many, many trailers I've seen around with different hauliers - It's contact details of the company that operates the lorry I'm after

Actually, that might be deeply patronising smile Anyway, google the reg number, it comes up as a Dyce Carriers truck. Might be worth a try.

I imagine if I had to maneuver my mobility scooter round the front of the lorry to get to the bus stop, I may leave some very deep scratches down the side of the cab. After a while that may make the driver think twice about being so inconsiderate.

The number plate via Google brings up a few images of that vehicle - linking to Dyce Carriers in Aberdeen: https://dyce-carriers.co.uk/

BUT that vehicle isn't shown in their current fleet. So might be worth a polite phone call?

The latest V5 was issued in Jan 2022 so Dyce probably sold it off and new owner is 'Bristow'

Contact the DVSA (formerly VOSA). They can impact on the operating licence of the individual or company.

If the bust stop has yellow lines, then you should push for enforcement.

Can you link the google maps location of this or post the postcode etc?

Its more likely waiting outside a yard/warehouse who are probably better to contact about this rather than some mystery shell company that owns the truck?

Have a look at the O licence disc on the windscreen. That will have their O licence number on it, with their full operator name.

Yeah absolutely nothing round there that I would stop for, how very odd, presumably its on the way up to Hull to drop the trailer at the port but not sure why you'd stop there for a break or whatever!
