Best place to buy new van?
Discussion
Hi all
My trusty pug partner is starting to throw up big bills,so it needs to be moved on
Im thinking of a new van so I can benefit from a 3 year warranty, and then either extend the warranty or move the van on at 3 or 5 years.
What is the equivalent of the carwow type sites for vans? Im looking to buy outright, Ive got a cheap covid loan and when ive looked at the lease route before my 20000 pa mileage bangs the price right up.
I see some dealers have fairly good deals on the new combo, are there any companies out there who will source a van for me?
Thanks in advance

I've had good prices from a broker but can't recall their name now. Posting so I remember to look at my emails tomorrow am. My trusty pug partner is starting to throw up big bills,so it needs to be moved on

Someone post tomorrow am to remind me.
I bought my L3H2 Citroen Relay from PureVans. Paid 16000 +VAT for it . 2019/20 model . Easy to deal with and hassle free. Delivered to my door direct from Citroen in Avonmouth Docks.

As someone who buys vans for a living my advice would be don't be too brand specific. Different manufacturers have different stock levels coming out of lockdown and amongst that will have more of some models than others. Half a day spent researching and calling around might deliver an attractive proposition. My trusty pug partner is starting to throw up big bills,so it needs to be moved on

As you aware Citroen, Peugeot and Opel/Vauxhall are all the same company and they also rebadge their vans as Toyota in a deal with Toyota Europe.
The current Berlingo / Partner / Combo is also sold as a rebadged Toyota Proace City.
It’s 100% identical fo the Citroen / Peugeot / Vauxhall equivalent except for the badge and one other major thing.
Citroen Berlingo Van & Peugeot Partner Van 3 years up to 100k and can be extended by 12 months
Vauxhall Combo van 3 year warranty with 60k and can be extended 12 months
Toyota Proace City is 5 years upto 100k (Not sure if it can be extended)

When I am buying I get direct manufacturer support and then tender across a range of dealers. If I were in the market right now as an SME I'd be starting with Autotrader and setting the parameters to new and 2020 vehicles only. This will throw up enough option to start exploring deals and then negotiating.
