This just rolled past a pub I’m sat outside.

I guess it’s ‘Merican, and very nicely sorted. What is it?

it would take a very special kind of person to want to drive around in something like that.

Semi as the Yanks call it. Kenworth is the make. No idea on the model. Not my thing and that paint is pure cringe.

It's a conventional (ie: not cabover) truck. Tractor for the tractor-trailer.

Manufactured by Kenworth. But it's not the newest series. Just Google Kenworth trucks.

Travel anywhere in the US west of the Mississippi River and these are ubiquitous. This one has a large "sleeper" behind the cab; it's a truck designed to travel for days at a time.

That's not a truck, it's a flat on wheels.

Love it.

Bought 2 mid roof versions in 2013 , intended to run the for 5 yrs/million kms . The build quality was dreadful almost to agricultural levels and after repeated and continuous DEF(Adblue) issues they were sold within 3 yrs . Now using long nose Volvos which have always been a favorite of mine but let down by the woeful dealership support . Happy days rolleyes

That will be 'Big Rigs' Kenworth W900, its used for weddings, proms etc, nice bit of kit, I know where it lives (just up the road from where I live) so see it quite often.... and hear it.

I wonder what it tares in at?
Useless as a working vehicle here: look how long the chassis is - you couldnt tow a worthwhile trailer.
