I’m looking for a long wheelbase high roof van and have around £6k to spend. Are there any which stand out as the best or any engines with catastrophic issues? I’m swinging towards the PSA stuff but unsure on reliability of the 2.2hdi engine.
I quite like Ivecos. Built on a proper old school chassis with decent engines and running gear, they're a bit plasticky and cheap in other areas but they go well and a lot cheaper than a Sprinter.
Thanks gents, I’d not considered an Iveco so I’ll check them out. It’s only for a camper conversion but it’s our first try so we’re using a strict budget so as not to worry too much about ruining something too nice.
