Afternoon all, I am currently looking for a SWB van in the Transit size range and have stumbled across a tidy Iveco Daily 2.3, 2008 model, with 180,000 miles on the clock. It is up at just shy of £3k. Does anyone have experience with the Iveco vans? They do seem to be more commercial and heavy duty than say a Transit or Citroen Relay etc., hence the mileage isn't too concerning (I hope!). The van is about 180 miles away, so I can't just nip to view it, but I have spoken to the vendor and he has talked me through it. Soooooo, the million dollar question, with correct maintenance and all that, will the van in theory have life left in it?

I've had a 2010 Daily XLWB for a few years. I'm very pleased. Tows our 16' Ifor well. Recently, I bought a 2009 Daily tipper. Seems OK but an intermittent electrical fault is frustrating. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another.

I drove 2013 models and the newer 2015 models with the 2.3d in delivery guise for a supermarket.

2013 (old) manual - Alright, felt quite quick, had a bouncy as F seat for some reason which made you roll around

2013 (old) Semi-automatic. Comedically bad my god, the gearbox was like an old man shifting a manual it was out of gear more than it was in.

2015 (new) Full auto. ZF8 gearbox would you believe, brilliant drive really smooth.

All had 150k plus main issues the fleet had was suspension breaks and wheel bearings. They were barely every off the road for anything else.
